About Me
Hi, I am Joshalan and I am a photographer based in Georgia. I never imagined myself being a photographer, but it was inspired by my battle with alopecia, which is an autoimmune condition that prevents hair growth. In the midst of my struggles with low self-esteem and insecurities about my hair I made a bold move and decided to shave all of my hair off. That was the moment I finally saw the beauty I possessed and I embraced it. At that point I had a desire to see others embrace every aspect of who they are, especially women with alopecia. Beauty UnCovered was birth by way of this inspiration. I learned that beauty is everywhere. I decided to be a photographer that captures the beauty in the moments that thrives and gives life beyond a singular moment in time. Beauty UnCovered is about you being you, so always Be You!
